About the S.D.M.C.

As the club grew, they organised all manner of motorsport events from car rallys, motorcycle trials and scrambles to grasstrack and the infamous Filey Beach Races.

From 1932 Freak Hill Cimbs were held at Stoney Haggs, Scarborough. Some of these events attracted 5,000 or more spectators.
