The Club continue to organise
and promote motor sport in the North Yorkshire area with particular emphasis on
Motor Cycle sports. National as well as International events have been held at
the club with great success.
The Youth Two day trial in
summer is one of the most anticipated events of the year, with many people
camping over for the barbeque and evening get together.

In recent years, the
club has assisted with local environmental bodies, particularly with reducing bank side
erosion on the River Derwent which can lead to sedimentation of the river
further downstream.
This has been achieved by the fencing off of areas
of the park from motorcycles to help promote the growth of plants that help 'hold the soil
together', and also to discourage people from walking on these delicate areas
